Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha showed David Moyes exactly what he could do tonight by scoring an outstanding opener for the Red Devils' Under-21 side.
Zaha, who started alongside the likes of Darren Fletcher and Fabio in Manchester United's 2-0 win against their north-west rivals, picked up the ball on the left before evading two defenders with a clever turn.
The former Crystal Palace winger then played a neat one-two with Fabio before blasting the ball past Blackburn Rovers shot stopper Matthew Urwin with a low left-footed strike.
The 21-year-old, who has made just one senior appearance for Moyes' side since completing a £15million move to Old Trafford, played the full 90 minutes along with Manchester United midfielder Fletcher.
Moyes will be delighted that Fletcher has stepped up his comeback and will be pleased with Zaha's impressive performance.
It is unlikely that Zaha will feature against Everton on Wednesday, given the fact that he played the whole game on Monday night, but he just may have done enough to make the substitutes' bench for the Premier League champions' weekend fixture against Newcastle United.
