Michael Jordan is set to become a father once again at the advanced age of 50, after it was confirmed that Yvette Preito - the Chicago Bulls legend's wife of seven months - is expecting.

The former NBA superstar, who retired 10 years ago, married Preito - 16 years his junior - in a lavish ceremony in Palm Beach back in April, with the bash attended by the likes of Tiger Woods, Usher and Robin Thicke.

Jordan and Preito are now set to celebrate their nuptials with the birth of their first child together, after it was confirmed that the 34-year-old Cuban-American model is pregnant, with some reports claiming she is three months from her baby's due date. The couple have been together for five years.

The former Bulls shooting guard is already a father of three, with sons Jeffrey Michael, 24, and Marcus James, 22, and daughter Jasmine, 19 born during his previous marriage to Juanita Vanoy.

Jordan was married to Vanoy for 17 years until they split in 2006, citing a mutual and amicable separation. Vanoy received a divorce settlement of $168 million.
