La Liga outfit Real Betis want to bring Liverpool forward Iago Aspas back to Spain on a short term loan deal, reports The Daily Star

The Spanish side are hoping the forward, ho only joined the Reds this past summer, will join the club on loan for the remainder of the season.

However, Betis may struggle to prize the 26-year-old away from Anfield, with Brendan Rodgers keen on providing back up to Luis Suarez with Daniel Sturridge currently out with an injury.

But as Betis prepare to make their move for the Liverpool forward, Valencia are also interested in bringing the striker back to La Liga.

With Aspas struggling at the Merseyside outfit and yet to score for Brendan Rodgers' side, the forward could go in search of first team football in January.

Aspas may wait and see if he is given more opportunities with Sturridge currently on the sidelines.

The Liverpool ace will be hoping to feature as the Reds take on Norwich City at Anfield tomorrow evening.

Rodgers' side currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League table and Liverpool will be desperate to secure all three points against the Canaries.
