GiveMeSport is looking to hire up to eight talented sports writers to lead the website's expansion into the US market.

Three months on from its last recruitment drive, GiveMeSport is planning to expand its news operation to a 24-hour cycle, and will take on up to eight new staff to cover two shifts - one in the evening and one overnight.

With 12 million visits in the month of November, GiveMeSport is on the up. But we don't want to stop there.

We're looking for the same dedication and talent from a new team of writers to match our current group of 12 full-time staff, with a specific focus on US sport.

We're planning to expand our coverage of the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and the NCAA - and we want to invest in the best young sports writers to make it happen.

Located in our central London office, the new US sports writers will produce up-to-the-minute content based on games taking place in the United States through the week.

We're talking news, features and opinion on LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Peyton Manning, Alexander Ovechkin and the rest of the stars who compete on the other side of the Atlantic.

The evening shift will take place from 2pm through to 11pm, and will cover the morning to mid-afternoon news cycle in the United States.

And you'll also get the opportunity to apply for, and attend, US sports fixtures on UK soil - events like the NFL London International Series at Wembley Stadium and the NBA International Games at the O2 Arena.
