Football News

LeBron James claims he is eager to see a live Seattle Seahawks game after the franchise reinforced their Super Bowl credentials with a crushing 34-7 victory over New Orleans Saints on Monday evening,

The Seahawks provided a clear message that they are the team to beat in the NFC after emphatically overcoming potentially their strongest challengers for the conference title, and James was impressed by what he saw.

The Miami Heat superstar tweeted: "As a huge football fan I have to get to a Seahawks game! That joint look like it be rocking!! #12thMan."

After the win against the Saints, the Seahawks are now 11-1 for the season - a record superior to any team across both the NFC and AFC - and need only one more success in their final four matches to secure their passage into the playoffs.

The next opportunity James will have to come good on his pledge to get to a Seahawks home game, before the end of the regular season, will be on December 22 against the Cardinals, and they could already be in the playoffs by then.
