Real Madrid are desperate to tie down the future of Sami Khedira in an attempt to stop him from leaving for the Premier League.

The Daily Star reports that the Spanish giants are fearful of losing their German star, with Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea thought to be the frontrunners for his signature.

Khedira, who is currently sidelined indefinitely after suffering a knee injury on international duty, has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu even though manager Carlo Ancelotti wants him to stay.

It's now thought that the aforementioned trio of English giants are all serious about convincing him to leave La Liga behind.

David Moyes is said to be keen on strengthening his waining midfield whilst Arsene Wenger is eyeing more German imports to get the best out of the likes of Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski.

Chelsea on the other hand are said to be preparing for a scenario wherein Ramires leaves the club, with the Brazilian having been eyed by teams on the continent.

Khedira has been in talks with Madrid concerning a new deal for the past few months but Los Blancos will no doubt now step up the intensity on the negotiations.
