Manchester City to lose strike duo to Inter Milan?

Italian giants Inter Milan will turn their attention to Manchester City strikers Edin Dzeko or Stevan Jovetic if they fail to sign Ezequiel Lavezzi on loan, according to Italian website Sport Mediaset.

Inter Milan boss Walter Mazzarri is keen on bringing a striker to the San Siro in January and has made former Napoli star Lavezzi his number one target.

However Paris Saint-Germain are unlikely to let Lavezzi, who moved to the French champions for €30million, leave on loan midway through a season.

And reports suggest Inter could make a move for either Dzeko or Jovetic if they cannot tempt Paris Saint-Germain into letting Lavezzi move back to Italy.

Inter have reportedly already contacted Manchester City to see if the English side are willing to let one of the two aforementioned stars leave the Etihad Stadium.

Both strikers could be allowed to leave Manchester City on either a temporary or permanent basis in January, as they are currently playing second fiddle to Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo.
