The 2013 Slammy Awards live from Seattle Washington took over this week’s Raw.

Daniel Bryan v Fandango

Just six nights before he faces off in a 3 on 1 handicap match against The Wyatts at TLC, Daniel Bryan had faced the dancing superstar Fandango.

Fandango took the upper hand early in the match, but Bryan pulled it back with his usual move set, being cheered on the whole time by his home town fans.

Fandango countered Bryan's high risk manoeuvre into a power bomb for a near fall but Bryan again managed to switch the momentum, Bryan seemed to miss with his usual boot to the face though, which was a strange moment.

Fandango went for his finishing leg drop but Bryan moved and hit the diving head butt and flying knee for the win.

After the match Bray Wyatt appeared on the screen telling Bryan that he will hurt him this weekend and that he doesn't care how much it hurts him he will prove that Bryan is a monster just like him.

The first Slammy of the night was for “LOL moment of the year” presented by The New Age out Laws. The nominees:

Vickie Guerrero gets fired

Titus O’Neill on Thanksgiving

Santino Marella’s Cobra charmer

The Rock’s song to Vickie Guerrero

The winner is The Rock’s song to Vickie

Vickie then came out to accept the award on behalf of The Rock but she wasn’t happy about it.

Santino Marella v Damien Sandow

Damien goes 1 on 1 with Big E Langston for the Intercontinental Championship at TLC so the Champion was on commentary for the match which saw Damien completely dominate Santino.

Santino did bring out the Cobra but Sandow swept his legs from under him before hitting You’re Welcome for the win.

After the match Big E entered the ring and had a stare down with Sandow.

The Shield came out in suits to present “double cross of the year” award, the nominees:

Mark Henry fools the WWE universe

Shawn Michaels crosses Daniel Bryan

Paul Heyman turns on CM Punk

Triple H double crosses Daniel Bryan

The winner is Shawn Micheals crossed Daniel Bryan

The Heart Break Kid came out to accept the award, saying he has never won the Slammy for double cross of the year, and it’s took him four years after he retired to win it.

Kofi Kingston v The Miz

This rivalry has been building for a few weeks after The Miz left Kofi in a tag match and then slapped Kofi after losing a match last week.

The two men took it to each other in the opening stages and Kofi looked like a different person in the ring, he was completely focused and wasn’t laying to the fans at all.

Miz tried to run but Kofi chased him up the ramp and dragged him back to the ring, but after Miz kicked Kofi face first into the turnbuckle he got the roll up win.

After the match Kofi hit trouble in paradise on The Miz as he celebrated.
Eve Torres came out to present “Diva of the year”, the nominees:

AJ Lee

The Bella Twins

The Funkadactyls

Eva Marie

The winner is The Bella Twins

The twins came out to accept the award and thanked the fans but it seemed like Brie kept talking over Nikki.

Cody Rhodes, Goldust, Rey Mysterio and Big Show v The Real Americans and Rybaxel

Rey started the match off with Ryback, going for the 619 early but the big man had it well scouted.

Goldust came in and took some abuse from Antonio Cesaro and Curtis Axel. The quick tags allowed the heel team to maintain the upper hand over one half of the tag team champions.
Goldust managed to make the tag to his brother who showed off his athleticism against Curtis Axel.

Ryback made the save only to be knocked back out the ring by Big Show, who then took out The Real Americans. Cody then hit the disaster kick, Rey tagged himself in, hit the head scissors for the 619 and dropped the dime for the three count on Axel.

Shawn Michaels was back out to present “WWE Superstar of the year”, the nominees:

Brock Lesnar

CM Punk

Big Show

Daniel Bryan

Randy Orton

John Cena

The winner is Daniel Bryan

Daniel came out to accept the award but Shawn wouldn’t let go of it and then he walked off. Bryan then thanked Shawn Micheals in his acceptance speech.

Sin Cara v Alberto Del Rio

Sin Cara knocked off Del Rio last week on Raw so this was a rematch between the two, Sin Cara is now being wrestled by Hunico instead of Mistico, this explains the new tattoo on Cara’s shoulder. But the high flying superstar took the upper hand in the early exchanges, knocking Del Rio out of the ring.

When Raw returned Del Rio had taken over the momentum, but Sin Cara won it back and went for the high risk move from the top rope, Del Rio caught him but Sin Cara hit a flip power bomb and barely connected the swanton bomb for the win.

The Prime Time Players were out to present the “Fan Participation of the year” award, the nominees:

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Let’s go Cena/Cena sucks

What’s up!

The winner is Yes! Yes! Yes!

Daniel Bryan came out to accept his second award of the night, and chanted with the crowd.

Brodus Clay v Xavier Woods

This match up stems back a few weeks to the pair’s backstage confrontation, where WWE hinted a heel turn for Brodus.

The match was over quickly after Brodus hit a big splash from the top rope for the three count.

After the match, Brodus continued the beat down on Xavier until Tensai and R-Truth broke it up, but it seems his heel turn is complete.

The Miz was then out to present “Insult of the year” and the nominees:

AJ Lee on the Total Divas

Zeb Colter

Paul Heyman

Stephanie McMahon

The winner is Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie came out to accept the award and looked very happy to have won.

CM Punk v Dean Ambrose

Ahead of his 3 on 1 handicap match against The Shield at TLC, CM Punk went one on one with the leader of The Shield Ambrose.

The United States Champion gained the upper hand over The Best in The World, but this didn’t last long and Punk swung the match back in his favour after various submission manoeuvres.

CM Punk had bruised ribs going into the match and Ambrose used this to his advantage, always going for the midsection.

The turning point in the match was when Punk moved out of the way and Ambrose went shoulder first into the ring post.

Both men had near falls midway through but neither could maximise on their advantages.
Dean through Punk out of the ring and after Seth and Roman didn’t help him Dean got in their faces and Roman and Seth left.

CM Punk then hit the GTS for the win.

Roman and Seth returned after the match and Roman hit a thunderous spear to Punk.

Mick Foley came out to present “Extreme moment of the year” the nominees:

The Shield power bomb the Undertaker

Ryback put John Cena through the stage

CM Punk's revenge on Paul Heyman

The Wyatts on Kane

The winner is CM Punk's revenge on Paul Heyman

Punk came out to accept the award looking banged up after his match, thanked the fans and reminded them to tune in to TLC Sunday.

The Usos v The Wyatts

The high flying duo somehow managed to take it to the bigger men in this match up but order was restored during the commercial break when the strange brothers used their strength to their advantage.

Jay took a lot of abuse from The Wyatts before he tagged in his brother Jimmy and he hit the Samoan drop to Harper, but Jimmy was then tied into the ropes.

The Uso’s almost got the win after the splash from Jimmy but Rowan broke up the three count, threw Jay into the announce desk and Harper hit a wicked clothes line on Jimmy for the pin.

The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be Bret Hart was out to announce the winner of “Match of the year” the nominees:

Undertaker v CM Punk (Wrestlemania 29)

Cody Rhodes and Goldust v The Shield (Battleground)

Triple H v Brock Lesnar (Extreme Rules)

The Rock v John Cena (Wrestlemania 29)

The winner is The Rock v John Cena

The World Champion came out to accept his award and thanked the WWE Universe

Natalya v Tamina Snuka

AJ Lee was at ringside ahead of her match against Natalya on Sunday, Tamina was out for revenge on Natalya after she was pinned on Smackdown which showed in the early stages.
AJ tried to get involved but was knocked off the apron and Natalya locked in the sharpshooter for the win.

The authority and twenty of the greatest former WWE and World Champions were in the ring awaiting the Championship ascension ceremony.

The WWE fans went wild for Daniel Bryan, interrupting Triple H’s speech which had the COO seething.

Triple H then brought out Randy Orton and John Cena with their respective titles and they both handed their titles over to be suspended above the ring.

Randy and John then built the match up a little with a back and forth about how good each was (I don’t think Bret Hart was happy about the reference to the Montreal Screwjob) before John showed Randy what work was by using Daniel Bryan as an example, and told Orton that he had been handed everything he had in the WWE.

John Cena then held his hand out for Randy which he shook but Orton took a cheap shot and chaos ensued on the ring. Randy shoved Punk so Punk punched him, Triple H hit Punk so Punk hit Triple H, Shawn Michaels then hit the Sweet chin music on Punk, Bryan then got some revenge on Shawn with a flying knee, Randy Orton went for the RKO but Bryan shoved Orton into Stephanie and Triple H pedigreed Orton.

The Authority and John Cena stood tall above Orton at the end of Raw.

The ending shows that Triple H is going to have a lot to do with The Champion of Champions match up, we have The Shield hinting a break up as they go 3 on 1 against The Best in the World, Daniel Bryan could join The Wyatts but if John Cena wins the title he has another shot, Natalya could be the new Divas Champion and Big E must defend against Damien Sandow!

TLC is not a pay-per-view to be missed!
