Neymar scored his first hat-trick as a Barcelona player to condemn Celtic to their joint-heaviest defeat in Europe, the Scottish Premier League champions going down 6-1 at Camp Nou.

Gerard Pique opened the scoring for Tata Martino's side after seven minutes, and Pedro converted a Neymar cut-back to double Barca's lead.

The Brazilian forward then added one of his own before the break, tucking away Martin Montoya's low cross past the helpless Hoops goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

Shortly after the interval the former Santos star scored his second and Barcelona's fourth, finishing a brilliant team move, and then completed his treble with a sublime piece of skill, to make it five goals without reply.

Cristian Tello's deflected effort gave Barcelona a 6-0 lead, before Georgios Samaras scored a consolation goal for Neil Lennon's side, though it's unlikely to have appeased the Celtic boss.

Watch footage of Neymar's hat-trick as well as all the other goals against Celtic, in what was a resounding victory in the final group stage game in qualifying Group H.
