Ex-England international cricketer Michael Vaughan produced a mix-and-match performance for the English media when they took on the Australian media in a friendly.

Whilst the tourists are struggling out on the wicket in the Ashes, they gained some sweet revenge on the football pitch thanks – in the end – to Vaughan.

The Sky Sports pundit actually turned up late for the match, with manager David Lloyd far from happy with his special-guest player.

And, his mood wasn’t improved soon after when Vaughan managed to miss a great opportunity from the penalty spot.

The English were trailing 2-0 to the Aussies, and the batsman missed another great opportunity when he cut inside a defender but chipped straight at the keeper.

His fortunes would later change however, bending an unstoppable shot past the goalkeeper before setting off on a crazy celebration that the man himself compared to Eric Cantona. We think you'll agree, it's a bit more Temuri Ketsbaia.
