Arsene Wenger says it will not be difficult to pick up his players after Saturday's 6-3 defeat to Manchester City. Wenger is confident the Gunners will get back on track when they face Chelsea next weekend after their lead at the top of the table was cut to two points.

David Moyes has accused opponents of "queuing up to kick" Adnan Januzaj and called on referees to give the youngster more protection. The Manchester United manager was furious with Aston Villa after a number of heavy tackles on the 18-year-old midfielder.

Chelsea loanee Lucas Piazon scored his ninth and tenth goals of the season in a wonderful performance for Vitesse on Sunday. The Brazilian midfielder led the Dutch club to a 3-2 win over NAC, with the 19-year-old's second a particularly special solo goal.

Joe Hart is set to return to the Manchester City team when they take on Leicester in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday. Stevan Jovetic is also set to be part of the squad after recovering from a calf injury.

Clive Allen is backing Glenn Hoddle to take charge of Tottenham until the end of the season should Andre Villas-Boas get the boot. AVB is fighting to save his job after the 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool.

Xavi is the latest player to join the growing injury list at Barcelona after pulling a muscle in his right leg against Villarreal. The midfielder was a second-half substitute in the 2-1 win and will now miss Tuesday's Copa del Rey match.
