Arizona Cardinals star Larry Fitzgerald has suffered with concussion after the match with Tennessee Titans, reports cbssports.

With under one minute remaining, and the Titans desperate to force over time against the Cardinals, Jackie Battle hit Fitzgerald who ultimately lost control of the ball.

However, despite suffering with concussion, Fitzgerald's father has revealed the Cardinals star is alright after the special teams play.

Larry Fitzgerald senior tweeted: "@LarryFitzgerald is going to be okay. Our prayers have been answered. He passed concussion tests and feels good."

Fitzgerald will now be hoping to regain his full fitness as the Cardinals target a playoff spot. They will also be hoping Carson Palmer stays fit after the quarterback suffered an ankle sprain during the same match.

Meanwhile for the Titans, they have now suffered three straight defeats and will be hoping to improve their form in the last weeks of the season.

They now turn their attentions to Sunday 22 December when they take on the Jacksonville
Jaguars at the EverBank Field and they will be desperate to get back to winning ways.
