Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Welsh superstar Gareth Bale picked up a calf injury in training.

However the Italian manager insisted that Bale should be fit in time for his side's La Liga clash with Valencia on Sunday.

Manchester United boss David Moyes has insisted that he wants to win the Capital One Cup this season.

Moyes' side travel to Stoke City this evening and the Red Devils could book their place in the semi-finals of the competition with a win at the Britannia Stadium.

Jose Mourinho was left frustrated after his side were knocked out of the Capital One Cup to Sunderland last night.

The Blues were beaten 2-1 in extra time at the Stadium of Light and Mourinho doesn't understand why his team can't kill off the opposition.

Arsenal star Bacary Sagna has revealed that he's in negotiations with the Gunners over a new deal at the club.

Sagna, who runs out of contract at the end of the season, has played a key role in Arsenal's fine start to the season and could now commit his long term future to the north London outfit.

Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino has hailed Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini after his side were drawn against the Citizens in the Champions League last 16.

Meanwhile the Argentine manager has insisted that he's looking forward to the two-legged clash with the Etihad outfit.

And finally, Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has called upon the Reds to prove their title credentials over the next three weeks.

The Merseyside outfit moved to within two points of Premier League leaders Arsenal after thrashing Tottenham this past weekend and now Suarez wants the club to continue their good run of form.
