Denver Nuggets small forward Jordan Hamilton was ejected for punching Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams during their game on Tuesday night, according to The Big Lead.

Thunder's Kevin Durant scored 30 points in the 105-93 victory over the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

The game itself was little to write home about, save one incident between Hamilton and Thunder big-man Adams.

Adams, a rookie seven-footer from New Zealand, moved to set a screen on Hamilton who took exception to the move and aimed a punch in his direction.

And Hamilton connected, a swinging right-hook hitting Adams on the side of the head. Needless to say, the Nuggets player was ejected by a vigilant referee.

Adams was taken with the 12th pick of the 2013 NBA draft, and he's been a useful member of the Thunder rotation so far this season.

He gets respect here for not retaliating to a cheap shot from his Nuggets opponent.
