Washington Wizards coach Randy Wittman will have a sore head today, and not because he hit the booze to celebrate the Wednesday victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

Wittman watched his team top the Nets with a 113-107 win at the Barclays Center to take their season record to 11-13, but his evening was somewhat marred after taking an errant pass full in the face.

The moment was captured brilliantly by Newsday Sports photographer Jim McIsaac, with Wittman's body language suggesting he was blissfully unaware of the pain he was about to encounter.

The Wizards, meanwhile, had John Wall and Nene to thank for their win in Brooklyn with the duel scoring 38 points between them. It was a second win in New York in two days for the Wizards having won at the Knicks on Monday.

Up next is a visit to Boston to play the Celtics on Saturday.
