Long-term Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder is desperate to seal a move to the Premier League champions, according to The Sun.
Galatasaray midfielder Sneijder has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for several years as former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was keen on bringing the Dutchman to England.
The Scotsman was unable to convince Sneijder into joining the Red Devils - but it seems his successor could finally land the 29-year-old.
Reports claim Sneijder is willing to take a £1million pay cut in order to join Manchester United.
And United boss David Moyes is prepared to throw Sneijder's fellow countryman Alex Buttner into the deal in order to try and convince Turkish outfit Galatasaray into selling their star midfielder.
Manchester United have been linked with several midfielders over the past few months - including the likes of Koke and Ander Herrera - but it seems Sneijder is at the top of Moyes' January wish list.
