Chelsea outcast Kevin De Bruyne will demand a transfer away from Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Star.

The 22-year-old, who signed for Chelsea from Genk in 2012 for £6.7million, has found games hard to come by since joining up with the first-team squad.

De Bruyne, who has enjoyed loan spells at Genk and Werder Bremen over the last two seasons, has failed to persuade Jose Mourinho that he deserves a regular starting berth.

The Belgium international is said to be disgruntled with life at Stamford Bridge, as he has made just three Premier League appearances for the west London side so far this season.

De Bruyne, who played the full 120 minutes in Chelsea's shock Capital One Cup defeat to Sunderland on Tuesday, was reportedly told by Chelsea that he was free to find a new club.

Several Bundesliga clubs - including Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen - are said to be keen on bringing the attacking midfielder back to Germany.
