Barcelona superstar Neymar is the most expensive Brazilian player in world football, according to new research.
The 21-year-old, who joined the Catalan giants from Santos over the summer, is worth €67.4 million according to Brazilian firm Pluri Consultoria, who have released a list of the most pricey players from the country.
That would mean that in the six months he's been at Barcelona his value has increased by around €10 million from the €57 million his current employers paid to secure his services in June.
Neymar, who is expected to lead Brazil to World Cup glory on home soil next summer, has impressed since heading to the Nou Camp, and bagged his first hat-trick for the club earlier this month against Celtic - thus becoming the first player to score a hat-trick in that competition as well as its South American counterpart, the Copa Libertadores, in history.
Playing alongside Lionel Messi, the Brazilian has settled into life well in Spain, and has scored 6 goals in 14 La Liga appearances to date.
Behind him on the list is Zenit St. Petersburg striker Hulk, who is valued at €46.2 million.
The 27-year-old joined the Russian outfit from Porto in 2012 alongside Benfica's Axel Witsel for a fee of €32 million.
PSG defender Thiago Silva completes the top three and is valued at €36.9 million, while Chelsea's WIllian is the most expensive Premier League Brazilian at €36.4 million - less than the fee Chelsea paid to land him from Anzhi Makhachkala in the summer.
Hot on his heels is fellow Chelsea star Oscar, who is said to be worth €33.4 million.
Lucas Moura joined PSG in a big-money move back in 2012 but has failed to make an impact - however he's next on the list with a valuation of €33.2 million.
Chelsea midfielder Ramires (€31.4m), Manchester City star Fernandinho (€29.4m), Real Madrid defender Marcelo (€28.3m) and another Chelsea player David Luiz (€27.4m), complete the top 10.
