Wowzers, here's a little early Christmas present from the Eredivisie. Sorry for that Alan Partridge-esque introduction, but if anything warrants it, then this goal does.

Michael de Leeuw scored an absolutely outrageous 360-degrees spinning back heel in FC Groningen's 5-2 win over NEC on Sunday. I mean, seriously brilliant.

There looked to little on as a ball from the right dropped just behind the striker, but he improvised wonderfully, twisting round to send his acrobatic flick into the bottom corner.

That goal most have inspired his side as the went on claim a convincing win that puts them 6th in the Eredivisie.

Just as 2013 was drawing to a close, do we have a new contender for goal of the year?
