Goalkeeper – Manuel Neuer

Football News

Iker Casillas can't get a game at Real Madrid, Gianluigi Buffon is inching towards retirement age and Joe Hart is dropping clangers left, right and centre.

Does that mean Manuel Neuer is now the undisputed best goalkeeper in the world? If 2014 is anyway close to matching 2013, then the German stopper has a strong case.

The Bayern Munich keeper enjoyed a monstrous 2013, winning the treble - including the Champions League - and with many now tipping him to end Casillas's stint as the FIFA/FIFPro World XI number one, it's pretty easy to put Neuer ahead of his peers.
