Brazilian beauty Fernanda Lima will be forced to cover up during the FIFA Ballon d’Or awards ceremony in January.

The 36-year-old model stole the show at the World Cup draw earlier in the month, with TV cameras regularly finding their way back to the lovely lady.

However, her style of dress was not so well received in Iran, where TV producers pulled the live broadcast her appearance was ‘too sexy’.

Thousands have subsequently complained, according to The Daily Mail, and she’ll be wearing something a little less revealing on January 13th.

“I am sorry for what happened. It was never my intention to offend any country, culture or people, or cause controversy,” said Lima.

“I have learned from this experience and will therefore be very careful in choosing my dress for the Ballon d'Or Gala so all can watch.”

Lima has been around for several years, making her name on TV in her homeland and also appearing in a number of films – including ‘Stuck on You’, which featured Matt Damon and Eva Mendes.

And, it’s easy to see what all the fuss is about, with Lima extremely easy on the eye.

But don’t take my word for it, check out her best bits at the draw at the top of this story…
