Arsenal fearful over Ramsey injury

Arsenal are worried that they could be without midfield ace Aaron Ramsey for up to four weeks after the star suffered an injury in the Gunners victory over West Ham on Boxing Day, reports The Telegraph

However, it could yet be even worse for Arsenal - if Ramsey has suffered a tear then he could be out of action for as long as eight weeks, however the Gunners are hoping the Welsh star only has a strain.

Ramsey has been a key member of the Gunners' team this season and has played an instrumental role in the club's fine start to the season.

Arsenal currently top the Premier League table after their most recent win, however they will now have to go about their business without Ramsey for the upcoming weeks.

Arsenal travel to Newcastle United tomorrow as they look to end 2013 on a positive note. However they will be well aware that they will have to perform without Ramsey if they are to secure all three points at St James Park.

Arsenal will now be hoping Ramsey can make a return in the near future.
