Jose Mourinho gatecrashed a post-match interview with David Luiz after Chelsea's 2-1 win over Liverpool yesterday - and accused him of getting booked on purpose.

The Blues claimed a vital 2-1 win over Liverpool at Stamford Bridge yesterday - a result only slightly tarnished by the fact that Luiz picked up his 5th booking of the season for a tug on Joe Allen that means he will miss the game against Southampton on New Years' day.

After the game while Luiz was being interviewed by Sky Sports' Geoff Shreeves alongside goal scorer Eden Hazard, Mourinho opted to accost the Brazilian and interview him himself.

Standing alongside Shreeves, the Chelsea boss jokingly accused Luiz of getting booked on purpose so he could go back to Portugal for the new year.

The former Benfica man, who looked stunned, then enjoyed a loving hair ruffle from his boss.

Chelsea are now 3rd in the Premier League following their win at Stamford Bridge, behind both Manchester City and Arsenal.
