It’s with a great deal of excitement that the doors to this January’s transfer window were flung open.

The gap between the summer market being open for business and the winter one re-opening does little quell the rumours that fly around whenever clubs are allowed to buy players, and this year has been no different.

With the race for the Premier League perhaps being more fiercely contested than ever before, and numerous clubs in dire need of strengthening respective positions, there’s plenty than can be expected from this transfer window.

But rather than bog you down with the ifs and buts of potential moves, we here at GMS think it’s far more useful to just give you straight up the transfers that are almost guaranteed to take place this month.
