FA Cup: Arsenal to meet Coventry in fourth round

Arsenal have been handed a favourable home tie with Coventry City in the fourth round of the FA Cup having overcome north London rivals Tottenham on Saturday evening.

The Gunners triumphed 2-0 against Spurs at the Emirates Stadium thanks to goals from Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky, and will now meet Coventry at the same venue later this month.

Arsene Wenger's side are without silverware since their triumph in this competition in 2005 and, given their position at the top of the Premier League table, are in with a great chance of ending that barren run this season.

Elsewhere, Macclesfield Town - the lowest ranked team in the third round - will travel to Rochdale if they are able to beat Sheffield Wednesday, while there is more top-flight opposition on the horizon for Sheffield United.

The League One side beat Aston Villa this weekend and will face either Norwich or Fulham at Brammal Lane in round four. Nottingham Forest, who pulled off the result of the round by thrashing West Ham, meet either Ipswich or Preston.

FA Cup fourth round draw in full:

Sunderland or Carlisle v Kidderminster or Peterborough
Bolton v Cardiff
Southampton v Yeovil
Huddersfield v Charlton or Oxford
Port Vale or Plymouth v Brighton
Nottingham Forest v Ipswich or Preston
Southend v Hull
Rochdale v Macclesfield or Sheffield Wednesday
Arsenal v Coventry
Stevenage v Everton
Wigan or MK Dons v Crystal Palace
Derby or Chelsea v Stoke
Blackburn or Manchester City v Bristol City or Watford
Bournemouth or Burton v Liverpool or Oldham
Birmingham, Bristol Rovers or Crawley v Manchester United or Swansea
Sheffield United v Norwich or Fulham

Ties will take place on the weekend of January 25 and 26.
