Ex-Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli wants a move to Chelsea, reports the Daily Star

The Italian forward only left the Premier League a year ago, but now looks set to return with AC Milan struggling in Serie A.

And after links with London trio, Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea, it now appears that the controversial Italian star wants a move to Stamford Bridge.

Balotelli previously worked with current Blues boss Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan and is now ready to link up with the 'Special One' once again.

Balotelli's previous spell in England was certainly hit-and-miss however as the striker was involved in a number of controversial incidents.

And if Jose Mourinho is to make a move for the Italian star, then he may also have to battle former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini who is also reportedly interested in the player's services and could opt to bring him to Turkey.

With Chelsea in need of a new forward at Stamford Bridge, it now remains to be seen as to whether the Blues will make a move for the Italian star.
