The January transfer window is in full swing so let's take a look at the rumours doing the rounds in the Premier League today.

Arsenal are of course being linked with plenty of strikers following the news of Theo Walcott's season-ending injury, but it looks like they won't be landing Mario Mandzukic from Bayern Munich.

The German club's sporting director Mathias Sammer says they have no plans to let him leave.

Across the north London divide and Erik Lamela's future continues to cause much debate, with reports in Italy saying he could be on his way to Inter Milan until the end of the season -

However the Telegraph say that Spurs are adamant that he is going nowhere.

One club who seemingly don't need to delve into the transfer market is Chelsea.

They have a host of young starlets on loan with Vitesse Arnhem who are hoping to help the Dutch club, currently level on points with leaders Ajax, claim their first ever title.

Here's a look at how they are getting on.

Back to the transfer window and reports in Bosnia today claim that Manchester United have lodged a bid for playmaker Miralem Pjanic.

There have been suggestions over the past week that Roma could be willing to sell up, having already sealed deals for two new midfielders. A bid in the region of £25 million could do the trick.

Barcelona's hunt for a new goalkeeper appears to be at an end with a deal for Borussia Monchengladbach's Marc Andre Ter stegen 'effectively finalised' according to AS.

Defender Martin Montoya, a target for Liverpool, meanwhile says that he feels comfortable at the Nou Camp and will stay put - although is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.

And finally to Manchester City and defender Joleon Lescott.

The England international has been linked with a loan move to Tottenham and West Ham in recent weeks, but now Talk Sport claim that Aston Villa want to take him on until the end of the season.
