When the chips are down and you are affiliated with one of Arsenal's main rivals, you can be sure Emmanuel Frimpong will use the power of social media to rub salt in to the wound.

The Gunners midfielder kept to his reputation as a serial troller by posting a hilarious mock up of Manchester United manager David Moyes following the 2-1 defeat to Sunderland in the League Cup semi-final.

It was Manchester United's third straight defeat across three different competitions, capping what has been a disappointing start to life as manager at Old Trafford for Moyes.

His suffering has hardly been eased by Frimpong, who has been caught posting a variety of memes ridiculing Arsene Wenger's managerial rival.

Manchester United went down to Sunderland in the first leg of their semi-final tie thanks to a Ryan Giggs own goal and a Fabio Borini penalty either side of half-time.

A Nemanja Vidic goal gave United a chance to salvage a passage through to the final in the second leg but, judging by the Red Devil's record at Old Trafford this season, not many would bet against the Black Cats making in to Wembley.

If they do and Manchester United crash out, expect another hilarious parody from Arsenal's in-house clown Frimpong.
