In the annals of recent football history, it’s fairly easy to recall more than just a few January transfers that didn’t go according to plan.

Whether it’s down to the astronomical fees clubs expect for players halfway through their season, certain stars struggling to adapt to foreign leagues or simply that the move was never destined to work in the long-run, some transfers just don’t cut it.

Moving forward from this there’s bound to be an innumerable amount of gossip linking players with moves that simply don’t have any grounding in reality.

But whilst Eden Hazard leaving Chelsea for a French suitor doesn’t make any logical sense in our minds, there’s plenty of potential moves that would get a wide-spread nod of approval if they were to come to fruition.
