Football News
Manchester City have made a £100,000 bid for talented Shrewsbury keeper Joe Hart.

While no-one from the Premiership outfit was willing to confirm the move, PA Sport understands officials from the Eastlands outfit have contacted their Shrewsbury counterparts with a formal offer for the England Under-19 international.

The move is no surprise given the number of times City boss Stuart Pearce has dispatched goalkeeping coach Tim Flowers to watch the highly-rated 18-year-old.
