Manu “Obi-Wan” Ginobili

Football News

3× NBA champion (2003, 2005, 2007)
2× NBA All-Star (2005, 2011)

A great way to start off the feature. While this nickname isn't exactly the most used around the league, it sure as hell should be. Any Star Wars references are applauded and encouraged by this writer.

Ginobili started his career in Argentina, before moving to Italy, and finally joining the San Antonio Spurs in 2002, three years after being picked by the franchise with the 57th pick in the '99 Draft.

Averaging 14.9 points-per-game in the 10 years he's been in Texas, Ginobili has been a great servant and whilst not being in the same bracket as Tim Duncan, Manu definitely has a better nickname than 'The Big Fundamental.'
