Jason Puncheon takes the worst penalty of all time

Crystal Palace winger Jason Puncheon has smashed wide arguably the worst penalty in Premier League history this afternoon, taking a spot kick that looks set for viral stardom just eight minutes into this afternoon's London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

Puncheon stepped up early on at White Hart Lane after Marouane Chamakh had been hauled to the ground by Mousa Dembele, but wasted the chance to break the deadlock in spectacular fashion.

Watch a truly woeful effort fly high and wide of the target from just 12 yards in a video which may well give Puncheon and Eagles boss Tony Pulis in the short clip at the top of the page, or by clicking here.
