The agent of Manchester United target Everton Ribeiro has reportedly confirmed the player has received two offers from England, according to the Daily Star

Cruzeiro midfielder Ribeiro has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford despite stating last week that no offers had been made to him

But now it would seem that clubs from Europe have made a move to sign the 24-year-old, with his agent, Robson Ferreira, revealing offers are on the table.

“Everton received official proposals to leave and his family are aware of this.

"Let’s first talk with Cruzeiro who owns the federative rights of the player.

"As the club president said himself, Everton is the ace of the team and was the player who improved the most last season.

“He was elected by all national sports critics as the best Brazilian player and received the Golden Ball.

"He appreciates that he reached new heights last season.”

Ribeiro won the player of the year award in the Brazilian top-flight last season and is seemingly looking to further his career with the challenge of plying his trade in Europe.

Ferreira added; "“Cruzeiro is part of the project for the player but so is Europe.

"Let’s talk to the board of Cruzeiro to see what we all think and take it from there. Football is dynamic, a lot can happen until January 31st.”

If David Moyes can tempt the Brazilian to the Premier League it would be a timely boost to his United side who are looking to add extra strength to their midfield having missed out on several targets over the summer.
