Tottenham are only six points off the top and can still take the Premier League title to White Hart Lane, especially with their new found strike partnership blossoming.
Not only this, but new manager Tim Sherwood seems far more willing to change things up.
While Andre Villas-Boas refused to play two strikers, but also was unwilling to play Emmanuel Adebayor, who since coming in alongside Roberto Soldado has looked unstoppable.
Despite being on the receiving end of a lot of stick, Spurs are not doing as badly as everyone’s making out. Only in fifth place, Tottenham have an extremely good squad, and if they can combine to effect, they could be unstoppable, with players like, Roberto Soldado, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela yet to make an impact, but certainly have the potential.
Often looking toothless in the first half of the season, after changing to two up front, they have shown far more cutting edge and drive, with Soldado clearly preferring to play with a partner.
This, along with a midfield that on their day can be the best in the league, could prove devastating.
These factors tied in with the potentially solid defence, could make Tottenham a very hard team to beat.
To conclude, a number of things are going the way of Spurs right now - and I don’t believe it’s down to luck.
Sherwood has come in and brought with him a whole new mentality, and one that should serve the Lilywhites perfectly. Watch out top four: Spurs are coming.
