6. Max Meyer | Schalke
Schalke coach Jens Keller didn't wait long before bringing 17-year-old attacking midfielder Max Meyer into his first team.
After impressing for Schalke's youth sides, and doing the same with Schalke 04 II, Meyer was handed his first-team debut last season.
He went on to make six appearances in all competitions before the end of the 2012/13 campaign, but the youngster - who turned 18 in September - has really come to the fore this term.
Meyer is already one of Schalke's key players - having played 24 matches this term - and don't rule him out making Germany's squad for the 2014 World Cup finals.
