Manchester United have agreed terms to bring in Fabio Coentrao on loan until the end of the season, according to reports. The Portuguese left-back could be signed on a permanent deal in the summer as a replacement for Patrice Evra.

Real boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that the club should never have sold Mesut Ozil to Arsenal. The German international made a shock £42million switch to the Emirates in the summer, but Ancelotti has conceded that Los Blancos shouldn't have let him leave.

Chelsea are closing in on the signing of former star Nemanja Matic from Benfica, if reports are to be believed. The Blues are thought to want to use the cash from the sale of Kevin de Bruyne to fund the deal.

Now over the La Liga, and Barcelona have been boosted by the news that Gerard Pique has agreed to pen a new deal, despite interest from a host of Premier League outfits. Sources claim that the Spanish centre-back ignored proposals from England to commit his future to the Nou Camp.
