It has not been a great year for Arian Foster: The former undrafted free agent missed half of the season with back and hamstring injuries whilst his Houston Texans team recorded the worst record in the NFL.

And now, according to TMZSports the running back is facing a lawsuit from a Texas woman who claims she is carrying his child.

The woman, referred to as Brittany in the article, is 17 weeks pregnant and is demanding child support from the former Tennessee star.

Foster, it is reported, is keen for the woman to get an abortion and has even solicited help from his family to make it happen.

The lawsuit states that Foster "used family members to additionally harass (Brittany) to get an abortion."

Brittany is also asking for a restraining order within the lawsuit to stop any more abortion pressure from the Foster family, she would also like damages for emotional distress.

A DNA test has already been run to show that Foster is likely the father but TMZSport were unable to get any word from the NFL star's camp.
