Manchester United manager David Moyes met Juventus's chief transfer negotiator Beppe Marotta at the weekend to discuss the futures of Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba, according to the Daily Mail.

Moyes travelled to Turin on Sunday to watch Serie A champions Juventus in action against Cagliari - and reportedly met with Marotta after the match.

The United boss is keen to strengthen his squad - both this month and in the summer - and it's believed that the Glazers will provide him with a significant amount of cash to sign high-quality players for the long term.

Pogba, who spent three years with Manchester United but opted to join Juventus in 2012 after failing to break into the Red Devils' first team under Sir Alex Ferguson, could potentially cost the reigning Premier League champions over £40m to re-sign.

The talented France international, who has flourished in Serie A, regards Paris Saint-Germain as his first-choice destination - but would not rule out a move back to Old Trafford.

Vidal, meanwhile, could be available in the summer - although a January transfer for the brilliant Chilean all-rounder has been ruled out.
