Monaco want to bring Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic to France in the summer, reports The Daily Mail

The Ligue 1 outfit have joined Turkish side Galatasaray in the race to sign the Serbian defender on a free contract at the end of the season.

It's expected that the Red Devils star will depart Old Trafford at the end of the season as he's still not signed a new deal with the club.

And reports have suggested that both Monaco and Galatasaray are ready to offer Vidic more than the current £90,000-a-week that he earns at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Manchester United captain has played a key role for the Red Devils in recent weeks, however it remains uncertain as to whether David Moyes wants to keep the 32-year-old for the long term.

With Vidic entering the twilight years of his career, Manchester United boss David Moyes could turn to youth next season, with the likes of Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones all battling for a first team place.
