Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba will not be re-joining the Premier League champions in January, according to the Independent.

Manchester United are said to be keen on making a move to re-sign Pogba from Juventus, however the Independent suggests the 20-year-old does not want to move back to Old Trafford due to Red Devils director Sir Alex Ferguson.

Pogba, who is said to be worth an estimated £40million, is still disappointed with the way Ferguson treated him while he was plying his trade at Old Trafford.

The Frenchman thought he deserved a shot at holding down a first-team place, however he was instead limited to just a handful of senior appearances at Old Trafford.

Pogba has been a revelation for Juventus since joining the Serie A giants on a free transfer in 2012, which has resulted in Manchester United trying to lure the central midfielder back to the Premier League.

However it now appears Pogba would favour a move back to Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain if he was to leave Juventus either in January or at the end of the campaign.
