Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will almost certainly be forced to make at least one change to a winning team tomorrow afternoon when Fulham visit the Emirates, with Nacho Monreal struggling with an ankle problem and unlikely to be fit for the London derby.

Monreal picked up an ankle problem in the second half of a gritty 2-1 win at Villa Park on Monday night, replaced by Kieran Gibbs in a change which will be repeated from the outset against Fulham tomorrow.

Gibbs will slot back in to form a trusted defensive shield alongside Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny and Bacary Sagna, while with Mikel Arteta still out with a calf problem Mathieu Flamini will keep his place in central midfield.

Flamini will play alongside in-form Jack Wilshere as Aaron Ramsey also continues a prolonged spell on the sidelines with a thigh problem, adding to a list of casualties which also includes Thomas Vermaelen and Nicklas Bendtner.

Further forward Wenger faces a tough decision over whether to hand Serge Gnabry a third successive start on the right flank, with the German starlet competing with returning wing wizard Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for a place in the side.

Oxlade-Chamberlain played the final four minutes against Villa as he came on to replace Tomas Rosicky, who may play wearing a protective mask against Fulham despite breaking his nose in two places on Monday night.

Santi Cazorla will continue to frustrate Lukas Podolski's bid for first-team action on the left, while Olivier Giroud is nailed on lead the line after a strong display against Villa.

Arsenal predicted XI to face Villa: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Flamini, Wilshere, Cazorla, Ozil, Gnabry, Giroud
