Manchester United boss David Moyes has been handed a stunning £150million war-chest to improve his faltering squad between now and the start of next season, according to the Daily Star.

Moyes is preparing for a squad overhaul as a number of his players are set to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.

Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Ryan Giggs and Fabio da Silva are just some of the names out of contract in the summer, while Moyes is also likely to allow members of his squad to leave Manchester United - with the likes of Nani and Alexander Buttner reportedly heading for the Old Trafford exit door.

The Daily Star suggests Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani is at the top of Moyes’ wish-list.

Moyes has been keeping tabs on the Uruguayan forward over the course of the season and sees the 26-year-old as a ready-made replacement for Wayne Rooney, should the England striker leave Old Trafford in the summer.

Reports claim Moyes is also interested in bringing Arsenal target Julian Draxler to the club at the end of the season, while other potential targets include Ilkay Gundogan, Marco Reus, Koke, Luke Shaw, Leighton Baines and Eliaquim Mangala.
