Moyes to raid Everton for £15m star - and it's not Baines

Manchester United boss David Moyes is plotting another raid on Everton - with right-back Seamus Coleman his intended target.

The Old Trafford chief has been strongly linked with the club's other full-back, Leighton Baines, following the £27.5m summer capture of Marouane Fellaini.

But Moyes has reportedly given up hope of landing Baines, and has instead turned his attention to Ireland international and Arsenal transfer target Coleman.

A £60,000 signing from Sligo Rovers six years ago, the 25-year-old defender has gone on to become one of the best attacking full-backs in the Premier League.

Moyes is a massive fan, and the report claims he's prepared to pay up to £15m to bring him to Old Trafford this month.

Arsenal are also thought to be admirers of the Irish star, and with Bacary Sagna looking set to leave the Gunners at the end of the season, Arsene Wenger was reportedly considering his own move for Coleman.

French international Sagna is yet to sign a new deal at Arsenal, and has an offer from Galatasaray.

But the report claims Coleman would favour another link-up with David Moyes at Manchester United over a move to Arsenal.
