Manchester United outcast scores screamer in Portugal

With Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney currently sidelined by injury, Manchester United manager David Moyes could do worse than recall on-loan forward Bebe from his spell with Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira.

On Sunday, the 23-year-old provided some justification as to why Sir Alex Ferguson paid £7million to bring him to Old Trafford in 2010, when he scored an exquisite volley to earn his current side a 1-1 draw with Braga.

Lurking on the edge of the box after a corner had been half cleared, the Red Devils outcast displayed brilliant timing and technique, to unleash an unstoppable effort past the goalkeeper and into the top corner.

Bebe has struggled to break away from his reputation that will probably still see him go down as one of Manchester United's biggest transfer flops, but more performances like this can help change Premier League fans' perception, and could even offer him hope of a future under Moyes at Old Trafford.

Watch Bebe's volleyed wonder-goal in the video above, and have your say in the comment box provided if you think he deserves another chance at Manchester United!
