So we now know the Denver Broncos will face the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII.

The game in New Jersey is just under two weeks away. 

So here are the key facts and figures surrounding the event; from the average ticket price to the number of yards allowed by the meanest defense in the NFL.

82,500 - Capacity of the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, venue for Super Bowl XLVIII.

$1.6 billion - The cost of said stadium (the most expensive stadium ever built).

4,063.62 - The average price (in US dollars) of tickets for the game as of 8pm ET Sunday 19th January on TiqIQ.

1 - The game will be the first Super Bowl to be played outdoors in a cold weather       environment.... and also the first to be played on artificial turf.

Also the rankings of both teams as they entered the post-season. This will be the first time since the Saints met the Colts in 2010 that both top seeds have reached the Super Bowl.

13-3 - The identical records of both the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks at the end of the regular season.

9 - The age of Russell Wilson when Peyton Manning was drafted in 1998.

457.3 - The average number of yards per game for the Broncos - the most potent offense in the NFL.

700 - The number of state troopers on duty for the game at the MetLife Stadium.

526,217 - Amount ($US) that Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will earn this season.

15 million - The base salary of Peyton Manning's Broncos contract this year.

7 - This will be the seventh appearance for the Broncos in the Super Bowl - their first since 1999

14.4 - The average points scored by opposition teams this season against the Seattle Seahawks.

2 - This will be the Seahawks second time at the final game. They lost their only previous visit, to the Steelers in 2006.

Also the number of acts announced for the half-time show; the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Bruno Mars.

80,000 - The number of tickets dispensed by the NFL for the game in New Jersey.

17.5 - % of tickets that will be given to the two participating teams.

4 million - The amount ($US) that a 30-second advertisement will cost during the game. 

25,000 - ($US) The amount raised by eight Omaha companies after Peyton Manning yelled their city's name 44 times during the Broncos - Patriots game. They have agreed to repeat the collection in the Super Bowl.

600 - The Broncos became the first team in NFL history to score over 600 points in regular season play. 

3/4 - NFC teams have won three of the last four Super Bowls. The AFC's Baltimore Ravens won last years match up against the 49ers.
