Manchester United manager David Moyes is poised to go on another scouting mission this week, according to the Telegraph.
Last week he was spotted scouting potential new recruits at matches in Italy and France, and this Friday he is expected to attend Borussia Mönchengladbach's Bundesliga clash against European champions Bayern Munich.
Moyes will reportedly run the rule over Gladbach duo Patrick Hermann and Max Kruse.
Hermann, 22, is regarded as a possible alternative to Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus, whose release clause cannot be triggered until 2015.
The midfielder, who has scored six goals in 28 league appearances for the team ranked third in the Bundesliga this season, has represented Germany at every youth level up to the Under-21s - and could force his way into the senior side ahead of the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil, such has been his impact this season.
Kruse, meanwhile, has represented Germany's national team on six occasions, scoring one goal.
The 25-year-old striker has scored eight goals in 17 league appearances this term.
