Manchester United are interested in signing Manchester City wonderkid Tom Dele-Bashiru, according to Sky Sports.

Liverpool are also reportedly keen to sign the 14-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the country's most promising young footballers.

However, the player's father insists that his son is in no rush to make a decision over his long-term future.

"I have been contacted by a number of clubs and agents to ask about my son's situation at Manchester City," Dele-Bashiru Snr told reporters.

"It is flattering that other clubs are interested in Tom, but we are no rush to make a decision on his future as it is important we make the right decision so that he can continue his development."

City are determined to retain the teenage sensation's services and will do everything in their power to keep him at the Etihad Stadium.

However, the Premier League outfit could be about to lose arguably their most talented young player to their fiercest rivals.
