Several members of the MLB players association are so disgsuted at Alex Rodriguez's decision to sue the union that they called for him to be kicked out of the group, according to reports from Yahoo.

But the angry players were told by union leaders that was not an option which they could legally take. From Yahoo Sports:

"On a conference call of perhaps 40 players and board members held Jan. 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., outraged union members repeatedly requested that Rodriguez be expelled, sources said. Following a roll call of players present on the line, according to one participant and another familiar with the call, the first player to speak asked bluntly: Can we kick him out of the union?"

Rodriguez was handed a 162 game suspension by arbitrator Fredric Horowitz for his link with the Biogenesis company which had supplied him with PED's since 2010. A-Rod and his lawyers filed an injunction with the high court to block the suspension, which included the MLBPA for "completely abdicating it's responsibility" to him.

This really riled the players in on the conference call who were quoted as saying:

"When he gets up to bat, you can hit him and hit him hard," one player on the conference call told Yahoo Sports. "That's what I'd do. He sued us. Jhonny Peralta and Nelson Cruz screwed up. You know what? They owned up to it. They took their medicine.

"[Rodriguez] needs to be scared of coming back and facing people he sued. If he can't fear the wrath of getting kicked out or not being included, he's going to be forced out."

Rodriguez has said that he is looking forward to the break he'l get as time to rest his body before coming back for the 2015 season. If the vitriol towards him remains the same then i doubt he'll be so eager to return by the time the ban ends.
