Kevin Durant "On a whole other level"

Football News

It would seem that Kevin Durant can do no wrong this season.

Fresh from achieving his fourth 40+ point game of this month- he netted 46 points during last night’s 105-97 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers- Durant’s not only setting the league alight with his form, but there’s also an increasing number of people tipping him to overthrow reigning MVP Lebron James.

Even his own teammates are now hailing Durant’s influence within the squad, as was evidenced by Kendrick Perkins’ post-game quote after the Oklahoma City Thunder had dealt with the Trail Blazers.

Perkins perhaps best summed up Durant’s current vein of form by saying: "I've played with some pretty good players, but what he is doing right now is on a whole other level."

Not bad coming from a man who has been in the NBA for more than a decade.

The Thunder now sit in 2nd place in the West Conference having amassed a healthy record of 32-2, but it is beggars belief that they can end the reign of the Miami Heat?

And is it possible for Durant to take the MVP for the first time in his career?
