John Madden hates the Pro Bowl

If there's one thing you can rely on John Madden for it's A) a damn good EA Sports game and B) a strong opinion on any subject.

And that's exactly what we got when Madden was questioned on his opinion of the Pro Bowl game and it's new, incredibly tenuous, format:

"Doggone it. We've been doing it for a long time and we have to protect the integrity of it." Madden told SiriusXM''s Schein on Sports show. "And the integrity has gone in the last 4 or 5 games."

"I think they're trying to fix it, but it's become an embarrassment, it's become a joke, and as they fix's become an even bigger joke."

The legendary former coach turned commentator then provided a rather worrying forewarning for the end of season game that has been a fixture on the calendar since 1938 saying; "i think it's very close to the end of the Pro Bowl."

We hope that John is wrong but football fans everywhere know how much of a farce the game has become.
